Staying at Hill House is a special experience, one where memories are made and a chance for friends and family to spend valuable time together. 

With so many things to do, a stay at Hill House can be as relaxing or exciting as you want, but either way, evening meals are a chance for all to come together, enjoy the moment and share in a grand dining experience. The meal was truly superb, we are a group of foodies and have had the opportunity to dine at some of the best eateries at home and abroad….and the total experience (service, food, atmosphere) was up there with the best of them.

We, as a company, are obsessed with food - if there is enough, what will it be, when is the next lot of food. I have to say that in the 5 years we have done these trips this was the best food. We were lucky enough to have Theo Michaels, Elsewhere’s Exec Chef, with us and it did not disappoint. We had many amazing meals, all fabulously presented. The best bit was on the second evening when he did us a Norfolk Feast complete with roast pork belly, slow roast lamb, potatoes, butternut squash amongst other things, all finished off with the most delicious dessert of pears poached in Rose. We did not want to leave him behind!!

Norfolk is home to some of the UK’s best produce and we like to keep it local, sourcing our meats from local butchers from farms in Norfolk to fish caught off the Norfolk coast. 

The Norfolk Feast at Hill House is as supper should be when you’re eating in the dining room of a 16thC manor house.

The Norfolk feast does vary based on the season and all allergies and dietary requirements are catered for.
